Verilog Primer

Xerenet's three day Verilog Primer course addresses the core issues of the language and how it is used in the ASIC and FPGA design fows. The course comprehensively covers all of the language basics as well as covering some more fundamental aspects of design fows. The course is ideal for Applications Engineers who need to have a grasp of the language, as well as Design Engineers starting out with Verilog.

Duration: 3 days

Advanced Verilog

This course addresses the core issues of the language and how it is used in the ASIC design flow at an advanced level. The course comprehensively reviews all of the language basics and moves to a more advanced level in order to provide an in-depth understanding for the user.

Duration:5 days

Practical Digital Signal Processing

Digital Signal Processing is widely used in digital communications receiver design, image processing, video signal processing, noise cancellation and audio processing. This comprehensive five day course reviews the mathematical fundamentals of signal processing and relates them to ASIC and FPGA implementation. Practical aspects of designing complex DSP systems are emphasized.

Duration:5 days

MATLAB for Design Engineers

This course will help Engineers using MATLAB to increase their productivity by learning to harness the full spectrum of MATLAB functionality. The course is heavily lab oriented, by learning concepts hands on, candidates will be able to put their enhanced MATLAB skills into practice immediately.

Duration:3 days

Unix for Design Engineers

Traditionally engineers have learned to use UNIX by using it and more often than not, many do not use the full power of the operating system available due to lack of exposure to some key commands. This three day course helps to fast-track the learning process and increase productivity sooner for IC design engineers. This course introduces the UNIX operating system as it is used in an integrated circuit design environment. A special section on the IC CAD flow emphasizes how the power of UNIX can be harnessed on a daily basis for ASIC design.

Duration:3 days

PERL Workshop

PERL is a powerful, cross platform scripting language. In design, it can be used to to automate tedious processes and help you to work more productively. This lab focused one day workshop is designed to maximise the efficiency of users with some exposure to PERL so they can use it's full power in the design environment.

Duration:1 day

TCL/TK Workshop

This practical intensive one day workshop will help designers with limited exposure to TCL and TK to learn to use these tools in their everyday work. The practical examples within the course are focused on everyday design tasks and aim to help engineers to use TCL/TK to work more productively, and help to eliminate tedious, error prone tasks.
